When Christine and Ross told me that they want to do their engagement photos in Millenium Park in downtown Chicago, I was beyond excited! We scheduled it for early May and I loved all the blooming trees and tulips. I knew the location was super special to them, because Christine told me that on their first date, she took Ross to Millenium Park and Grant Park and spent hours walking hand in hand on the beautiful alleys. So I arrived a couple of hours earlier to scout for best spots, and boy I’m happy I did. Because of the pandemic, the main attractions were closed down – The Bean, Buckingham Fountain – and you could enter the park only at specific entry points.
Christine and Ross are such a joyful, beautiful couple and their love story reminds us that true love really exists. Ross gave up his job and moved from Atlanta to Chicago in the middle of a pandemic, to marry the love of his life!!
I met Christine back in 2019, when I photographed her brother wedding, and Christine was in the bridal party. I am very honored to photograph her wedding this year, at Emerson Creek Pottery Barn in Oswego and I can’t wait to see her sweet family again and meet their friends!!
